2. Gillbride of ANGUS was born before 1128 (son of Dufugan of ANGUS); died about 1187. Notes:
He fought in the Battle of the Standard on 22 August 1138, when the Scots were totally defeated at Northallerton, Yorkshire. In 1174 he was one of the hostages for King William the Lion [Scotland].
