I have traced my ancestors to a Benjamin Bolling Bowling III who married Martha “Patsy” Phelps. They had a son named James Bowling. Benjamin Bolling Bowling’s father is John Bolling. But I have read on numerous sites that this John Bolling is not a descendent of Pochantas.
So who is the John Bolling that is a father to Benjamin Bolling Bowling.
My ancestor Mary “Molly” Bowling married John Gilbert, Sr. who settled in Redbird, KY.
